Thermosticks is set up for trade short lead times, consistent dimensional tolerances, fastener guides, and direct access to the mill. If you install exterior wood, decking, or sauna interiors as part of your work, this page is for you.

Lead times & delivery

Standard lead time is 2-4 weeks from order confirmation to arrival anywhere in the continental US and Canada. Larger orders (above 2,000 linear feet) are delivered on freight pallets with curbside drop. Smaller orders ship on standard LTL freight.

For time-critical projects, rush production is available on pine products at a surcharge contact us before ordering and we'll confirm whether we can meet your date.

Trade pricing

Our list pricing is already manufacturer-direct, which is why it's roughly half the price of imported Thermowood through distribution. For contractors running multiple projects per year, we offer a trade account with tiered volume discounts starting at 500 square feet per order.

Installation resources

Fasteners

All Thermosticks tongue-and-groove cladding is installed with hidden stainless steel 304 or 316 ring-shank siding nails, driven through the tongue at 45°. Our decking installs with face screws on the standard D1 profile, or hidden clips on the D1-HF profile. We stock and ship matched stainless fasteners alongside material add them to your order.

Installation best practices

  • Always maintain a minimum 3/4" back-ventilation cavity behind cladding boards. Thermowood's low moisture content means it has little tolerance for trapped moisture against the back face.
  • All end cuts must be sealed with an end-grain sealer compatible with thermally modified wood. We recommend and stock Cutek CD50.
  • Minimum 12" from grade on exterior cladding installations.
  • Boards ship with approximately 8% equilibrium moisture content. Allow 48 hours of on-site acclimation before installation; don't install straight out of shrink-wrap in extreme climates.
  • Pilot all face screws on the thicker 1" and decking stock. Pre-drilling prevents splitting near board ends.

Tool recommendations

Standard carbide blades work on Thermowood, but wear faster than on untreated stock the dense, caramelized cell structure is slightly harder. A fresh 60-tooth blade on a good miter saw will give clean cuts all day.

Warranty and claims

Thermosticks products carry a 25-year rot and decay warranty when installed per our guidelines. Cosmetic weathering, including the natural silver-grey patina, is not a warranty condition, it's expected. We accept claims by email at sales@stickssupply.com, typically resolved within five business days.
