Thermal modification cuts the wood's conductivity by roughly 25%, so benches and backrests stay comfortable at full sauna temperature.

The 212 °C treatment drives off resin permanently. No sticky pockets bleeding onto skin — the reason pine can finally live next to the stove.

Holds through steam cycles
From löyly to cold rinse and back, the boards barely move. Joints stay closed and bench tops stay flat, season after season.
